    Hi – great pattern and I love those fabrics. Also, I like how you pieced the backing. I wonder, do you try to consider the backing when quilting the front or do you just go over it?

      With this particular quilt I straight lined quilted it so it worked out very well with the backing. For the most part, I am most worried about the quilting on the front of the quilt and I try to compliment that first and foremost.
